The enemy doesn't always have to tempt you to sin
Sometimes he will simply overwhelm you with many things so you never focus on the one thing
The one thing he has purposed
Busy.
Busy.
Busy.
Too busy to pray. 24 hours in a day, and God gets 2 minutes in the morning and maybe a full minute before you crash at night
And we are definitely too busy to sit still, to hear from God, to open His word
We’re too busy to think through crucial things that need our attention.
Far too busy to listen, we’re constantly talking over each other, so we can make our point and get on to the next thing
Too busy to notice that God has been trying to redirect you for six months.
And here's the danger of constant busyness:
You can't hear correction but wonder why we keep ending up in certain situations.
Psalm 46:10 says:
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
